Naši distančniki so izdelani iz duraluminija PA6, zaradi česar so zelo trpežni in lahki, zahvaljujoč uporabi dvostopenjskih jeklenih puš z navojem pa ni nevarnosti, da bi se navoj strgal, za razliko od distančnikov z aluminijastim navojem.
Tako izvrtina kot centrirni obroč sta strojno obdelana s toleranco 0,05 mm, kar zagotavlja natančno centriranje kolesa in preprečuje vibracije volana, ki nastanejo, ko obroč ni pravilno poravnan.
Distančniki za pritrditev z vijaki so prav tako izdelani iz duraluminija z vtisnjenimi narebričenimi zatiči ali navojnimi jeklenimi tulci, ki preprečujejo strganje navojev. Njihova dvostopenjska zasnova preprečuje, da bi se zatiči in tulci med zategovanjem koles izvlekli.
Prednost distančnikov za kolesa je, da povečajo širino koloteka, kar izboljša vodljivost avtomobila med zavijanjem, poleg tega pa izboljšajo tudi njegov videz, ker kolesa niso skrita v blatnikih.
